I CAN move underwater maintaining a hydrodynamic position.
Arms fully extended when jumping into the water headfirst;
Arms touching the ears when entering the water;
Gliding underwater in a hydrodynamic position after the jump;
Deep water pool;
3 lanes;
The teacher is out of the water.
3 sinking objects;
Three lanes will be used simultaneously, with one student on each starting block.
At the professor’s signal, who will be standing at the side of the pool, all three students will jump into the water at the same time.
To ensure everyone’s safety, before starting the exercise, all students will be asked to perform a headfirst jump from the side of the pool.
Students who are unable to perform this jump will complete the exercise from the edge of the pool.
It is expected that most students will be able to safely jump from the starting block.
The full exercise will take about 5 to 15 minutes.
Able to perform a headfirst jump
Able to open eyes underwater
Able to move underwater
