I CAN jump into the water in different ways
I DO create funny and dynamic jump sequences with others.
I REACT by letting myself fall without breaking the human chain.
I FEEL confident and safe when I fall into the water
Children execute multiple jumps from the edge using safe and creative techniques while they are linked to each other (tuck, pencil, twist, etc.).
Pool edge (shallow or deep depending on skill). No equipment required
Groups of 3–5. Each child jumps in sequence to form a “jump chain.” Instructor supervises safety and encourages creativity from the side of the pool.
5–15 minutes. Suitable for mid- or end-of-lesson fun and coordination.
Comfort with water entry and basic jumping skills
Children form a chain and take turns jumping into the water using different positions or styles. They are falling into the water together like a wave.
Progression: From sitting positions to more complex positions. Increase complexity or introduce team challenges.
Add themes (animals, numbers).
